Elevated Insights now offers assessments for young adults. Did you know? Some research supports the theory that college age students have undiagnosed learning disorders (ADHD), which can make their academic life significantly harder. According to the National Center for Learning Disabilities:
- Young adults with a learning disability attend four- year colleges at half the rate of the general population.
- Only 17 percent of young adults with a learning disability received accommodations and support in postsecondary education because of their disability, compared to 94 percent in high school.
- The college completion rate for young adults with LD is 41 percent, compared to 52 percent in the general population.
