Dr. Paz to Present at Two National Conferences in October

Elevated Insights Assessment is excited to announce that Dr. Jennifer Paz will present at two national conferences in October with several colleagues: Dr. Vozar, Dr. Pazos and Dr. Farinas. The first will take place October 4 in Denver, Colo. at the ZERO TO THREE  (ZTT) Conference, and the second will be October 19-20 at the National Latinx Psychology Association (NLPA) in San Diego. Topics include: “Construyendo el Puente: Bridging the Training Divide Between IECMH and Latinx Populations” and “Hablamos/Let’s Talk: Using Talk Radio and Social Media to Build Resilience and Social-Emotional Wellbeing for Latinx Children and Families.”

As an organization, ZERO TO THREE’s mission is to ensure all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life. By translating research and knowledge—specifically information about the kinds of early experiences that help children thrive—into a range of practical tools and resources for use by the adults who influence the lives of young children, ZERO TO THREE is able to help support infants and toddlers in reaching their full potential. The ZERO TO THREE Annual Conference is a destination for professional and personal growth for specialists within the child development field. As part of the ZTT Conference, we invite families, providers and our community partners to join us on October 3 for a FREE event, “A Community Conversation: Building Well-being for Latinx Families.” For additional information – and to complete the required registration process – please clicks here.

The National Latina/o Psychological Association (NLPA) is a national organization of mental health professionals, academics, researchers and students whose objective is to generate and advance psychological knowledge and foster its effective application for the benefit of the Latinx community. NLPA’s membership represents a rich diversity of national background, ethnicity, cultural origin, religious tradition and political ideology, and they work in a wide range of professional and academic settings. The annual event features a variety of keynote speakers, cultural events, community service opportunities and workshops, and we’re thrilled to have Dr. Paz represent Elevated Insights Assessment as a featured speaker!
